Alyssa & Emily have been studio members at Clayroom SOMA for several years. They got together and said, why the heck is there nowhere in the city to buy ceramic supplies?! Studios have clay to sell and glaze to use, but driving to Richmond or San Jose to actually touch tools and look at new glazes is impractical for many. Enter Disco Clayworks.

Our goal is to create a space where ceramists of all levels can learn from each other and discover new techniques, tools, and inspiration.

We are hoping to build community by connecting the 25+ pottery studios across the city with artists talks, workshops, and events. If you are interested in participating or hosting an event, please contact us!
